Due to an urgent last minute order from an Egyptian customer, thenex GmbH has sent an employee courier by plane to Egypt to deliver the goods in person.
The customer was in a shutdown and urgently needed the goods to perform the last step of the plant maintenance. In order to be able to start up the plant again on Sunday, the goods were needed until last Saturday. Last week thenex GmbH has taken care of a fast procurement to enable the customer to start the plant and to avoid a longer shutdown.
Our Sales Team member Philippe Kamps traveled to Cairo with the goods on Friday afternoon. After customs clearance, our partners were already waiting at the airport and welcomed him warmly. After the handover of the goods, our employee was shown around Cairo before he was invited to dinner in the evening. After an interesting exchange during the dinner, he returned to the airport for his flight home.
Philippe Kamps especially enjoyed the personal exchange with our partner. For our employee it was also enormously important to know a face behind the name from now on.
